Where to find volcarona in relic castle

At the base of the stairs in the fifth room, head up and left along the stairs, then up through the opening. Climb the stairs in the room in which you appear, and keep climbing the staircase at the center of subsequent rooms until you arrive in a new room.

Here, there are drop-offs to the lower level. Steer clear of those and head up to grab an item, the TM26 Earthquake. Now you're ready to do some important stuff before you leave the castle. There's more than one way to progress in Relic Castle. From the Team Plasma member who fought you when you first entered the new portion of the dungeon, go through the rooms in the following order: down, left, down, left and left.

In that room, meet with the old man standing in front of the door leading up. Talk to the old man and you will find that his name is Ryoku. When you talk to Ryoku, he will mention a pokemon named Volcarona. Continue through the door that Ryoku was guarding and you'll arrive in a long room.

Head toward the top side of that chamber to finally meet your nemesis. Walking in the trap is fine, just as long as you don't walk in the direct center of the trap. The first visit will be a very short one. If you fall through one of the sand traps, you'll have to face a trainer in the basement to reach the stairs up to the first floor.

From the first floor, walk to the left passed the sand trap. A trainer can be found right before the staircase. After defeating the trainer, look to the right to find TM39 - Rock Tomb. That's all for now. Time to head to Nimbasa City. The second time you visit Relic Castle will be through Relic Path.

Follow him. He will fight you with an L64 Krookodile. Go south from the Plasma Grunt and keep going southwest until you find Ryoku, one of the six sages. Talk to him to get TM04 Calm Mind.

I also know you can catch a Lvl. I'm more of a casual player, and I don't worry about natures and EVs. But, if there is a difference not counting nature and EVs, would it be better to level up the Larvesta myself or just go ahead and use the Volcarona? User Info: Shradow My main concerns are their varying movesets, and the fact that Volcarona is more Special-oriented than Larvesta.

I plan on a special attacking Volcarona, so which would be better for that? Top Voted Answer. The problem with the egg is that even by the time you get to the first E4 battle you're unlikely to have evolved it unless you've put in some serious grind.
