Is it possible to get demoted in sc2
It took me 80 losses in a row to get from Gold to Bronze. How can you possibly do that? I tried and i gave up after 4 games It too so long to even find somebody, then the loading time, and then, after that time, i didnt wanted to just leave you know, so i wanted to cheese a little bit.
Just for fun, and leave after cheesing making him win still. I was just talking to people on Skype at the time and doing some programming whilst finding games It did take a while, but it wasn't that bad. I just left as soon as the game started each time. Nigerianrulz suga suga how'd you get so fly? Accname said:. Nope, i dont think we got different account on different servers. LurkerAspect Now officially a Super Lurker. Read this man's blog.
You do realise that dropping games is bannable, right? Other than that, with a good BO you can get to diamond without micro I proved it with my zerg. Why do you want to get to bronze to begin with? I only play custom games, i dont care about the ladder. But some friends of mine wanted to try the game out, but there was no way for me to get them "an easy challenge" since i was previously placed in platinum league before i started really playing the game and in custom games you get very good players more often then not.
So to make them able to "get into the game" a little bit i would have liked to give them bronze or silver league players maybe. Because, if you know how to play RTS games, all you need to learn is the units abilities and hotkeys.

It doesn't sound like you want to hear it, but the real answer is just to keep playing. The match maker is actually really good at getting you to where you belong, but unless your really lucky it needs a pretty decent number of games to truly get a grasp of your skill level and get you there.
I don't know how many games you've played so far, but if its less then 25 I'd at least give it that many playing legitimately. Its also worth noting that even when the MMR does get you where you belong, they're are going to be stretches where your gonna lose a lot. I don't know how many 8 game lose streaks I've gone through now, so if your going to enjoy laddering you really need to start finding ways to take enjoyment even from your loses, setting minor goals besides just winning to aim for or putting a lot of emphasis on studying your every loss and learning how you could have improved.
If you can't handle going through extended stretches of losing then laddering really isn't for you no matter how many games you give the MMR to accurately get a feel for your skill.
Just keep playing the game, you might be in silver but if you really are a bronze level player then you'll be facing bronze level people, ignore the numbers and shiny emblems next to your name and trust that the system knows who you should be facing. That is what I did what I was "scared" to ladder because everyone was "too good for me.
Is that your SC2 gamer tag? I would not even mind doing some pick up games either, though I do suck myself I hear you about fearing the ladder because the competition would be "too good", and so far SC2 has fully realized this fear I know there are tons of bronze league guys out there that would love to get to silver, but you need a deep, and complete understanding of sc2.
I just want to play a couple ladders games a week for fun, and have them be relatively competive games. I feel like that episode of South Park where the pee wee hockey team, who couldnt even skate, was playing an NHL team. I can beat the computer on hard consistently, and on very hard every once in a while as I can exploit their timing. But im getting tired of vs cpu matches and co op games.
Custom games arent very fun as im beaten even worse than the ladder, if thats even possible. Near as I can tell the people who play custom 1v1 games are high level players just trying out different builds. Playing any further ladder games is really pointless until im with substantially less experienced players.
Like I mentioned before, I almost never survive the first push, so most games are over by the 4 min mark unless I quadruple down on static defense. During the middle of a season, you can only be promoted. Inactive players are demoted out of Grandmaster league. However, your league membership only lasts for a season.
As of Patch 2. When a game is lost, points are subtracted from the bonus pool of the player.
